Our crew management package is designed to relieve the owner of any workload connected with the manning of vessels. SeaBird will perform the following services:

Crew Recruitment
We maintain a pool of pre-screened, medically fit Egyptian and international seafarers holding valid STCW certification for all ranks from Master and Chief Engineer to ratings. Our recruitment covers all vessel types including tankers, bulk carriers, container ships, general cargo, offshore vessels and tugs. All candidates are vetted through MLC 2006-compliant processes.
Payroll & Wage Administration
SeaBird manages the complete payroll cycle for crew including calculation and disbursement of wages, overtime, leave pay, service bonuses and allotments to crew families. We maintain full payroll records and provide transparent monthly statements to owners. Wage payments are made in accordance with CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) terms where applicable.
Certification & Training Compliance
Our certification team monitors STCW certificate validity for every crewmember under management, arranges refresher and upgrade courses at accredited maritime training institutions, coordinates medical fitness certificates and GMDSS renewals, and ensures full compliance with flag state, port state and class society requirements.
Crew P&I Insurance & Claims
We arrange crew P&I insurance cover through approved underwriters and handle all related claims including personal injury, illness, repatriation, and death claims on behalf of shipowners. Our claims management team works closely with P&I clubs, correspondents and legal counsel to achieve timely and equitable resolution.
