What is the current Suez Canal draught restriction?
The maximum permissible draught in the Suez Canal is updated regularly by the Suez Canal Authority based on tidal conditions and canal depth. The current allowable draught typically ranges from 62 to 66 feet (approximately 18.9 to 20.1 metres) depending on tide. Is there an airport near Port Said for crew changes?
The nearest international airport to Port Said is Cairo International Airport (CAI), approximately 170 km away (roughly 2 hours by road).
